This policy describes the default NetVitals deployment. It should be updated whenever the site's data collection, analytics, advertising, or service providers change.
Diagnostic data
NetVitals runs diagnostic logic in your browser. Requests used for reachability and speed testing are sent directly from your browser to the configured third-party endpoints. Those providers may receive standard request information such as your IP address and browser metadata under their own policies.
Local storage
The app may use browser localStorage to retain diagnostic history and settings on your device. This data is not automatically uploaded to a NetVitals application server in the default static deployment.
Advertising
If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertising. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to this site and/or other sites. Users can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Consent
Where required, NetVitals uses Google Privacy & messaging or another Google-certified Consent Management Platform to request and communicate advertising consent choices.
